Welcome to Diamond Valley Motorcycle Club

 

The Diamond Valley Motorcycle Club was formed in 1967 by a group of riders interested in motocross or scrambles. The members scraped together some money and purchased an established MX track near Ballarat called Newtown. Eventually the club sold this track and now we rely on hiring other clubs tracks or using various properties for our events. We are primarily a motocross, sprint and enduro club and we run an average of 6 to 8 events per year, with the emphasis on fun and good natured competition. We are well known for our Pony Express team events which are a good chance for people to meet and bring their friends out for a ride.

 
Club meetings are on the 1st Thurs of the month at the Hurstbridge Bowling Club. Come along and have a drink some pizza and a chat. 7.00pm.
Next Meeting is on Thurs,1st March, 7pm at Hurstbridge Bowling Club, Graysharps rd Hurstbridge.

Day race licence price increase 

 

Hi guys as many of you may have heard, both national and day race licences have been increased in price, we have provided a link below from MA showing the breakdown of where the money goes to and what it is used for.

 

FYI, day licences have gone up to $75 each!

TRANSPONDERS

PLEASE READ

 

Please re-register your transponder subscription through the MYLAPS website and follow the subscription process. This is essential or your times won't count at the events and nobody wants that. So please renew your subscription before your transponder expires which you can see in the FLEX MANAGER program you used to activate your transponder.

 

DVMCC WILL BE USING TRANSPONDERS AT ALL EVENTS.

THE CLUB HAS ONLY 50 IN STOCK TO LOAN OUT AT EVENTS, FOR A SMALL FEE OF $20.

ALL BIKES COMPETING IN ANY EVENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE A TRANSPONDER,

-  WE WILL WORK ON A FIRST IN, FIRST SERVED BASIS IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE

-  ENTRIES WILL CLOSE WHEN WE RUN OUT

No noisy bikes (see below)
IMPORTANT
Please be advised that no noisy bikes will be tolerated. Your bike must not be above 98 DBA.
We will be scrutineering bikes for noise if you are found to be above the noise limit you will be excluded from racing until the problem is rectified

The cost for membership is:

Entry into events generally costs $50 for pre entry & $70 entry on the day, this includes the MA levy.
Day race licence costs $75 if you do not have a yearly MA licence. Transponder Hire $20 if you do not have one.
